Arsenal To Hijack Magalhaes’s Transfer After Medical At PL Rivals


 
ARSENAL ARE LOOKING AT VARIOUS OPTIONS FOR THEIR DEFENSE. MAGALHAES IS THE LATEST IN THE LIST. BUT WILL FACE COMPETITION FROM PL CLUBS.

Mikel Arteta now knows that he has to make some defensive signings for Arsenal. It is now proven in the Premier League that if you want success your defense needs to be headstrong.

Liverpool are Manchester United are leading examples of that. Manchester City and Chelsea are examples of clubs that have had problems with their defense. And both are trying to improve upon that.

Arsenal too are in that same line. There is a big competition in the market for a quality center back. Man City has made their move by submitting an offer for Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake. If all goes well he will soon join the club.

Now that leaves out Chelsea and Arsenal. There will be competition among these two for available players. John Stones is one of them as he is looking for an exit. Pau Torres from Villarreal has also had links regarding a move to the Emirates.

But it looks like the club has now turned their attention to Gabriel Magalhaes. Magalhaes has had an impressive campaign with Lille and his performances have caught attention from some of Europe’s big clubs.

Gabriel Maghales and Nicolas Pepe have been good friends since their time at Lille. Last week Pepe and Magalhaes were on an Instagram live together were Maghales was congratulating Pepe for the FA Cup victory.

Many Gunners fans were starting to speculate a move for the defender. And now it looks like their dreams might come true. Lille’s President has also said that the player is looking to leave. He said that the player will announce his new club in the coming week.

According to The Sun, Manchester United was very close to completing a deal for Magalhaes. They were in talks with his agent and a deal for very close to completion.

But according to France Blue Nord, Arsenal and Chelsea have submitted their bids for the player. And now there are 4 clubs who bid have been submitted and agreed for by Lille.

Now it will all depend on Magalhaes. He did show the desire to move to the Premier League in February. But which one will be his final destination time will soon tell. “But I would love to play in the Premier League.” This was his statement regarding Premier League football.

Considering all the clubs involved, Nicolas Pepe’s relationship with Magalhaes might be one deciding factor in this case. Also, he is bound to get more game time at Arsenal than at United. Although Chelsea too are a very good option for him.
