BREAKING: Shehu Sani Arrested – EFCC Confirms


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has confirmed that the former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, was arrested by its operatives in Abuja.


“He is now being quizzed in our Jabi headquarters in Abuja”, PM News reveals.

According to the source, Sani collected money from the chairman and CEO of ASD Motors, his namesake Sani Dauda, under the pretense of passing it as a bribe to EFCC boss, Ibrahim Magu.

Sani Dauda was a former chairman of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria Limited(PAN). His ASD Motors is a major car dealer in Abuja.

Shehu Sani, a human rights activist, was elected senator in 2015, under the All Progressives Congress platform. When he could not get the party’s ticket in 2019, he ran on the ticket of the Peoples Redemption Party but lost to Uba Sani of the APC.

He has been a trenchant critic of the APC government, both in Kaduna and Abuja, since then.

Should Arsenal Sell Eddie Nketiah To West Ham

 Once he hit the U18s he was known as a prolific goalscorer, and was quickly promoted to the U23s, where he carried on scoring despite his age, and Arsene Wenger introduced him to the senior side. Fans started to take notice when he came on as a sub in a League Cup game against Norwich and scored both goals and we were excited for his future. But that promise has never quite materialised. Eddie has continued to be prolific against Smaller sides (i.e. League Cup, Europa League and England U21 qualifiers) but in the League he has managed just 4 goals in 33 appearances, although mostly off the bench.
