Maurizio Sarri wants Chelsea to sign Inter centre-back, Milan Skriniar, ahead of Manchester United.
The Blues bolstered Sarri’s options in the summer, with the signings of Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who joined in a club-record deal.
But the 59-year-old is desperate to strengthen his options in the January transfer window.
According to The Sun, Sarri is “not satisfied” with his options in central defence and is keen on Skriniar.
However, Chelsea will face competition from Manchester United, as Jose Mourinho is also targeting the £70 million-rated Slovakia international, as a signing who can improve his side’s defence.
